John Mayer "I Was A Jerk"
In this interview with People's Magazine's Sarah Michaud John Mayer talks about his life in the past two years. I believe that this is a good interview because she wrote where it was held, who he was and she also used direct quotes from him. I think that this is one of the few good interviews that this gossip magazine had issued due to the fact that most of the time they take quotes from the celebrities and twist their words to make them sound mean or caddy, but in this article the author didn't do that; which in my mind makes this a good interview.

"Tribes"
The article "It Takes A Tribe" was something that I could connect to. When I first came to college I didn't know what to expect. When I moved into my dorm room and went to campus events I was trying to find my tribe here at college but couldn't quite find it. Now that I am a commuter I feel like I am part of a tribe. I find my self becoming part of the "Bear's Den Tribe" where me and my other friends that also commute hangout in between class. I like that in this essay it talks about college tribes because right now it's something I can relate to. Walking around campus I can find those different tribes that are also described in the essay, which shows that they are universal tribes.
Collage Update
My collage is doing good. I have picked a color scheme and finalized my topic. I have been going through my photo albums on my computer and picked all of my photos. Glogster has been giving me some trouble with downloading the pictures but I am sure i will either figure it out or it will fix itself. Now all I have to do is put all my pictures on it.

The readings this week gave me something to think about. The reading about the FaceBook page especially. This reading made me really realize that you have to be careful about what you post on the internet and no matter how private you think your page is people can still see things on it. The internet is a very good way to find people you may know or find things out about a person. If you are a teacher students can find your page if you have one also future employers can find you and determine whether or not they will hire you on this specific information. If you don't post things that are not appropriate you may want to rethink what you are doing but if you are discret about what you post you have nothing to worry about. But our FaceBook pages really do tell who we are as a person and what our identity is. This reading taught me a lesson without really knowing it, it taught me that you can find anyone you want to on the internet.
